In its revised lists, the BJP also announced eight candidates from Jammu region.

Sunil Sharma will contest from Padder-Nagseni. He had won from Kishtwar in 2014. He is the general secretary of the party. He has served as a Minister of State for Transport during the BJP-PDP regime.

The BJP will be banking on Daleep Singh Parihar in Bhaderwah, from where he won the poll in 2014.

Shakti Raj Parihar, who will contest from Doda West is a former minister and vice-president of the J&K BJP. Shagun Parihar will contest from the Kishtwar. Her father Ajit Parihar and uncle Anil Parihar, both affiliated with the BJP, were killed by militants in 2018. Tariq Keen will contest from Inderwal seat and Salim Bhat from Banihal seat.

The party has also named Gajay Singh Rana from Doda seat, while Rakesh Thakur will contest from Ramban seat.
