Farooq, Hasnain release funds to fight Covid

Srinagar, March 21

National Conference parliamentarians Farooq Abdullah and Hasnain Masoodi on Saturday released Rs 1 crore each from their MPLAD funds which will be used to combat the threat of Covid.

The party in a statement said Abdullah released Rs 1 crore to combat Covid threat. The party said Masoodi has also released Rs 1 crore which will be equally distributed to Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian and Pulwama. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
