Govt has failed on all fronts, says Mehbooba
Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday urged party cadres to engage closely with the public and address their grievances, saying the government had failed on all fronts.
She chaired a meeting of district office-bearers and senior leaders at the PDP headquarters in Srinagar to review party activities at the grassroots level, a spokesperson said.
Mehbooba asked party leaders to strengthen coordination with people and help resolve their issues. “Discussions were held on preparations for the upcoming local body elections and the problems faced by the people, particularly those living in downtown areas,” the spokesperson added.
