Godfrey Philips India (GPI) has handed over 1 lakh face masks to Srinagar administration to be distributed among frontline COVID-19 workers and the needy.

Srinagar administration has made wearing of face masks mandatory from May 1.

“The GPI being a responsible corporate made a pledge to contribute in this noble cause under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and made sure to deliver the timely consignment of one lakh face masks to district administration,” the GPI said in a statement.

The GPI team comprised of Jahanzeb Bhat, Javid Ahmad and Aijaz Bhat. Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Shahid Iqbal has hailed the gesture and appreciated this initiative from GPI.
