Ice hockey coaching camp held at Khaltse sub-division in Leh
Jammu, January 15
An ice hockey coaching camp to teach basic techniques to children was held at the Khaltse sub-division in Leh. The coaching was organised by Khaltse councillor Lobzang Sherab.
Coaches Padma Angmo Alchi, Tsewang Phuntsog Saspol and Skarma Tsultim Thiksay participated in the coaching camp.
Councillor Sherab expressed gratitude to the coaches for sharing their expertise in ice hockey with children and teaching them basic techniques. He also advised the children for more and more participation in such courses. He said it was a chance for children to improve their sports skills as well as physical fitness.
The coaches gave demonstrations and taught the basic technique of ice hockey skating to the participants.
