Ice hockey tourneys begins in Leh
Leh, January 2
The fifth National Ice Hockey Championship-2020 (under- 20) and the seventh Women’s National Ice Hockey Championships 2020 began in Leh today.
The tournaments are being played on natural ice at the Karzoo rink in Leh town. Both are being organised by the Indian Ice Hockey Association in collaboration with the Ladakh Winter Sports Club.
Five women ice hockey players from Maharashtra are participating in the championship. Four teams from the local players of Union Territory Ladakh have formed a team in the name of Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana, Maharashtra and UT Ladakh for participation in the women’s National Ice Hockey Championship. — OC
