Srinagar, July 15

Recoveries stayed ahead of new Covid cases in J&K on Thursday as 334 patients recovered while 203 new cases and one death was reported during the last 24 hours.

Officials said that 148 recoveries, 74 cases and one death were reported from the Jammu division and 186 recoveries, and 129 cases from the Kashmir division.

The number of mucormycosis cases stayed at 32.

A total of 319,355 people have been infected with coronavirus in J&K out of which 312,890 have recovered, while 4,361 have succumbed.

The total number of active cases is 2,104, out of which 850 are from the Jammu division and 1,254 from the Kashmir division. — IANS
