Jammu-based Drishti hostel girls celebrate Teacher’s Day with ISRO visitors

Jammu-based Drishti Girls Hostel today celebrated Teacher’s Day with Swapnil and Swapnila Acharya, the twin brother-sister and young scientists of India who had recently been invited by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Swapnila and Swapnil distributed home-made cloth masks to each girl student residing in the Drishti hostel. The twins also gave them health, sanitisation and hygiene items.

An interactive session was organised with the hostel children and the twins strictly maintained social distancing and Covid norms. Hostel children talked about their daily activities with the duo.

Swapnil, a national award winning photographer, shared his ISRO experience with the hostel residents.

Swapnila, a national level painting artist, then demonstrated the making of crafts and home décor items from wastage materials to the girls.

Swapnila and Swapnil Acharya are Class XI students of JK Public School, Kunjwani, Jammu.
