Members of the Greater Kailash Residents Welfare Society and several others met the Commissioner and apprised him of the pressing civic issues affecting the area.

They raised various demands for improvement and upgradation of local amenities, including renovation and beautification of the pond near the Shiv Mandir, completion of the nullah work to ensure proper drainage and prevent waterlogging during the rainy season, laying of new lanes and drains in the Jalochak Basti to improve sanitation and connectivity, repair of the collapsed boundary wall in Greater Kailash Park to restore the safety and aesthetics of the public facility, and completion of pending lane and drain works in the Royal Avenue area to enhance accessibility and address long-standing civic grievances.

Dr Yadav listened patiently to residents and assured them that the issues raised by them would be addressed on priority. He emphasised that the Jammu Municipal Corporation was committed to ensuring that all areas under its jurisdiction received the required attention and developmental support.
