Upadhyay, who also leads the Mobility and Automobile Innovation Lab, visited the Centre to explore a strategic partnership. The collaboration seeks to provide students with access to cutting-edge technologies and startup incubation models, particularly in cross-border contexts between India and Japan.

The initiative aims to cultivate entrepreneurial thinking among students and equip them with the skills needed to succeed globally.

Chairing the session, JU Vice Chancellor Prof Umesh Rai stressed the growing importance of industry-academia collaboration. “This collaboration has the potential to transform the learning environment by linking our students to global startup networks and innovation hubs. It is a vital step towards ensuring that education translates into enterprise,” he said.
