Prof Manoj Dhar,Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu (JU) on Wednesday chaired 14th Nalanda Dialogue series on the topic “Causality in philosophy and modern science” held at Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, University, Bihar. In his inaugural address, Prof Dhar said causality in its most generic sense might be understood as an abstraction that indicated how the world progressed.
Drawing competition
Beloved’s Grace and Childline, Jammu, organised a drawing competition at Government Middle School, Kachi Chawni, Jammu. Total 34 students from the institution participated in the competition and drew colourful drawings. The event was followed by educating the children about personnel hygiene and cleanliness by the organisation and distribution of prizes. Light refreshments were also served to the students.

A meeting of all principals of government as well as private medical colleges was held in the office of Controller of Examinations on Wednesday. . During the meeting, issue related to the conduct of examinations well in time, paper setting, moderation of question papers and other academic activities related to the Medical Examinations etc were discussed.
