Kashyap Rajput Sabha seek job reservation

The All-J&K Kashyap Rajput Sabha today demanded implementation of 27 per cent reservation for the OBCs in the Jammu and Kshmir Government Service as per the judgement of the Supreme Court, post the abrogation of Article 370.
The sabha has also demanded political reservation in the J&K UT as the community had zero representation in the Legislative Assembly in the erstwhile state.
The demand was raised by the community before Union Minister for Rural Development Sadvi Niranjan Jyoti Nishad.
Sabha has also demanded ownership rights to the tenants of custodian evacuees property and five-year time bar be removed while issuing the OBC catogory certificate by the Tehsildar.
Sabha leader Mohan Lal Pawar appealed the Union Minister that Census-2021 must have a separate column of the Other BackwardClasses like the Schedule caste and Schedule Tribe.
