Kishtwar DC reviews healthcare facilities
Kishtwar Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Shavan, visited the District Hospital today to assess the special healthcare facilities being developed for elderly citizens in the district. During his visit, the DC inspected the proposed building for the establishment of a dedicated facility aimed at providing enhanced care and support to senior citizens.
The DC issued clear directions to the District Social Welfare Officer, Chief Medical Officer, and the Medical Superintendent to collaborate in overseeing the renovation of the identified building. He emphasised that the renovation and maintenance work should be completed within the next 10 days.
Later, the DC also visited the Sakhi “One Stop Centre for Women” to evaluate its operations and available services. He directed immediate improvements in the infrastructure and services at the centre, stressing the need to create a more supportive and conducive environment for women seeking assistance.
