Kishtwar man accused of sacrilege booked under PSA

Kishtwar District Police have booked a miscreant allegedly involved in a sacrilegious act under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA).
The accused has been identified as Sher Mohammad, who hails from Nagnigarh Keshwan and is currently residing at Lower Pochhal in Kishtwar.
Kishtwar SSP Abdul Qayoom said the police had received multiple complaints against the accused. The police, under the supervision of DSP headquarters, Kishtwar, arrested the miscreant involved in this heinous crime.
During the course of investigation, it was found that the accused was involved in various complaints of similar nature. Consequently, a dossier was sent to the Kishtwar DM and the person has been booked under PSA, the SSP informed.
After obtaining the PSA orders, a special team was constituted by the Kishtwar SSP to arrest the accused, who has now been lodged in Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu.
