Kashmiri Pandit employees under PM package form panel to air grievances

Jammu, January 14

The Kashmiri Pandit employees working under the Prime Minister package in Kashmir Valley have formed a committee to bring their issues before the administration for redressal. Formation of PM Package Employees Coordination Committee was announced on Sunday during a meeting of these employees.

A statement issued by the committee stated: “All representatives, including the employees present in the meeting, have unanimously decided to frame a joint conglomerate of package employees so that misrepresentation of facts and concerns regarding package employees brought to the notice of the administration could get rectified and are provided a time-bound solution.”

The speakers in the meeting said false information is being constantly given to UT administration by some “vested interest” about the issues of PM package employees even as genuine issues have not been addressed. “We have full faith in the Lieutenant Governor and are hopeful to get our issues resolved,” said a representative.
