Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday handed over appointment letters to 39 next of kin of terror victims from the Kashmir Division at Lok Bhavan, Srinagar.

Reiterating his commitment to delivering justice, jobs and dignity to the families of terror victims, the Lieutenant Governor said the long wait for justice had ended for these families.

“With concrete steps towards rehabilitation, we have restored their dignity and renewed their faith in the system,” Sinha said.

He added that for generations, the system had failed terror victims by not giving their cases the priority they deserved.

“We are empowering the voices of victims and ensuring they receive the rights and dues owed to them. We are also committed to swift and fair justice against the perpetrators,” he said.
