After identifying attendees of Nizammudin congregation at Delhi, the authorities have now shifted focus on students of various madrasas across J&K, visited by the Tablighi Jamaat activists.

Sources said the authorities had identified nearly 2,000 persons who had direct or indirect contact with the attendees of Nizammudin congregation and a majority of them had been tracked and quarantined to contain the spread of the virus. “We are now focusing on students of madrasas where Tablighis frequently visited to deliver religious sermons,” a source in the administration said. — TNS
