Military bands salute warriors

Expressing gratitude to all agencies involved in the fight against Covid, the Army organised military pipe band performances as a token of appreciation and goodwill gesture across the Jammu region on Sunday.
The Armed Forces organised multiple events throughout the country and in the Jammu region, comprising Rajouri, Akhnoor, Jammu, Samba, Kathua and Pathankot, to express their solidarity and gratitude towards corona warriors.
The Tiger Division held events at Government Medical College, Jammu, J&K Police Lines, Gandhi Nagar, Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Police Station, Bari Brahmana, and Employees State Insurance Corporation Hospital, Bari Brahmana. Banners with encouraging slogans were displayed and senior Army officials greeted and interacted with counterparts from other agencies. Miran Sahib Brigade also presented hand sanitisers and greeting cards made by children to the frontline workers at Government Medical College, Jammu.
In Rajouri, corona warriors were honoured by the Ace of Spades Division at District Police Lines, Civil Hospital, Government College and Army Hospital. Similar events were organised at police stations and hospitals by Crossed Swords Division in Akhnoor, Rising Star Gunners in Kathua, Gurj Division and sub area in Pathankot.
The Army Garrison at Udhampur felicitated the warriors by organising Military Pipe Band Displays at the station. To applaud them, the band performed at multiple locations in the town, including the Command Hospital and the Roun Domel police station. Sweets were also distributed among doctors, policemen and conservancy staff.
