PDP MLA takes a dig at Wani
Meanwhile, PDP MLA from Kupwara Fayaz Mir said took a dig at CM’s Adviser Nasir Aslam Wani. “I have been chosen MLA by my people. And more than any time in the past, the sanctity of the institution of MLA is under threat. As long as I am the MLA, I will protect the sanctity of this institution,” he said.
“May I ask the government what is the legal and political stature of the Adviser. He instructs the Deputy Commissioner, who in turn instructs the PA to send an invitation to MLAs.”
He added, “A humble advice to the Minister. If you are serious about the institutional supremacy of the Assembly and restoration of statehood start respecting your fellow MLAs. There are 6 MLAs in this district. Call them. Text them. If you are serious.”
“Please stop these photo sessions. Summoning officers will mean taking them away from work. Let them do their work. Let me know where you are. I will send the camera crew there for your photo sessions. Don’t disturb the officers,” added Mir.
