Kathua, January 3

The District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee today organised a nagar kirtan in connection with the Parkash Utsav of the tenth Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh.

DC Om Parkash Bhagat started the procession from Gurdwara Singh Sabha by flying balloons in the air. A highly decorated rath with flowers was framed by experts on which the holy Guru Granth Sahib was placed. The ‘Panj Payaras, led the procession carring ‘Guru Granth Sahib’ in flower-decked palanquin (Palki Sahib).
