Jammu, April 3

The Congress on Friday said that the latest move of the BJP-led Central government, enlisting new definition of domicile and thereby reserving only the lower grade jobs for youths of J&K, was “a step in continuity to humiliate and embarrass people, in particular youths”.

“First the demotion of the state to UT and now yet another downgrade in the matter of employment is totally uncalled for and unacceptable,” said senior Congress leader and member AICC, Mohinder Bhardwaj. He said the notification issued in this regard had come as a deadly blow to youths of Jammu and people at large.

Kapil Singh, another Congress leader, regretted that the BJP was playing with the future of the youth of J&K. He charged the BJP leadership with backstabbing people of the Jammu region.
