NHPC informs Lieutenant Governor of progress on Ladakh works

Bikram Singh, group general manager of NHPC Ltd’s Nimoo-Basgo and Chutak Power Station, called on Ladakh Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur at Raj Niwas on Wednesday.

Bikram Singh briefed about the proposed three hydroelectric power projects at Khaltse (26MW), Kanyunche (15MW) and Takmachik (10MW) by NHPC Limited and the submission of the feasibility report on these projects to Power Secretary.

Singh apprised about their proposed green hydrogen project in Kargil and Nimoo-Basgo and the plan to operate hydrogen bus in Kargil for which he sought land and water. Mathur hailed the officials for the projects.
