The sources said the searches were conducted in the areas of the districts including Anantnag, Baramulla, Srinagar, Doda, Kishtwar.

It is to be noted here that it was the same time the NIA had registered two cases—one linked to the drone attack on the Jammu Airforce station and another linked to the recovery of IED in which a LeT terrorist was arrested.

The NIA sources investigators conducted the raids on the basis of information that two more suspects who were arrested later had given them.

Among those whose premises were raided include that of a government employee at Sheeri in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, the sources said.
