A man was arrested for allegedly trying to snatch the rifle of a guard at a bank’s branch in Shopian district on Saturday, a police official said.

A man was arrested for allegedly trying to snatch the rifle of a guard at a bank’s branch in Shopian district on Saturday, a police official said.

The incident took place at the J&K Bank’s Imamsahab branch in the afternoon, he said. Nadish Ahmad tried to snatch a 12 bore rifle from the bank guard. — PTI
