One killed, two injured as heavy truck rams into several vehicles in Narwal

One people was killed and two others were injured on Saturday after a speedy truck rammed into several vehicles at a busy market in Narwal, Jammu.
The incident occurred at around 11:30 am.
A heavy truck with a brake failure allegedly rammed into several vehicles including, a highly flammable truck and cars at the busy Narwal market.
The deceased was identified as Sanjay Gandotra of Nanak Nagar, Jammu.
After the accident, the police immediately rushed to the spot and initiated a rescue operation.
They rescued the trapped and injured people from the vehicles and moved them to a hospital.
“A person has been killed and two others were injured in this accident. Immediately after the incident, we shifted injured persons to Government Medical College, Jammu for treatment. We have started an investigation to ascertain the reasons for the accident, but primarily it seemed that it happened due to brake failure,” said a senior police official.
