Days after the Pahalgam terror attack, the Station House Officer (SHO) at Pahalgam was shifted on Monday.

Pahalgam SHO, Inspector Riyaz Ahmad was among the six inspectors who were transferred in Anantnag district of South Kashmir, according to an order issued by Anantnag SSP Amritpal Singh.

Ahmad has been transferred to the District Police Lines, Anantnag. He would remain attached with the Additional Superintendent of Police camp, Anantnag, till further notice, read the order.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
