The sources said unprovoked ceasefire violation was retaliated befittingly by the Indian soldiers guarding the LoC.
Meanwhile, many blasts have been heard from forward location in the Balakot sector in Poonch district.
Officials suspected that the fire was an attempt by Pakistani troops to neutralise mines so that terrorists could be pushed into the Indian side.
Fire broke out in a forest in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir along the LoC and spread to the Indian side in the Dabi forward area triggering many blasts.
