The Dogra Brahman Partinidhi Sabha ( DBPS), Jammu, has decided not to celebrate Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti scheduled to be held on April 25 and Akshaytritya on April 26, keeping in view the lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a joint statement issued by sabha president Ved Parkash Sharma, VM Magotra , Subash Shastri, advocate PC Sharma, Satyanath Sharma, Shiv Ram Sharma, adv. Chander Mohan, Ramesh Sharma appealed to the public to perform the “puja” at their residence with chanting of vedic mantras and lighting earthern lamps on the premises of their houses and pray for the early control of this pandemic.
