In a significant move, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Sunday announced new leaders for the youth wing of the party.
Advocate Aditya Gupta has been nominated as the president of the youth wing indicating that the Kashmir-centric party was now trying to find its place in the Hindu-dominated Jammu region.
While Najmu Saqib has been nominated as the vice president, Mohit Bhan has been nominated as the general secretary (organisation).
In a post on X, thanking party chief Mehbooba Mufti, Mohit Bhan stated, “From my very first day, you have groomed me with unmatched care teaching me to articulate our party’s views in the media with clarity and guiding me on building the party at the grassroots with passion.”
Others nomination include Azad Parvaaz as general secretary (north), Shahnawaz as general secretary (central), Neeraj Chandel as general secretary youth (Jammu), Tanveer Hussain as general secretary (Chenab) and Aijaz Sumberiya as general secretary.
