The Jammu and Kashmir Police announced on Thursday that its Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) unit, in a secret operation, arrested a militant from Delhi for his involvement in terror funding and his links with terrorists of proscribed organisations based across the Line of Control (LoC).

The police said a case was registered at the CIK Police Station regarding the provision of logistical support to terrorists of banned organisations active in the UT.

Police revealed that the money was being routed through various means from across the LoC and was pushed into India through couriers, including the arrested accused, Parvez Ahmad Khan, a Srinagar resident. Khan was apprehended in Delhi by a team from CIK in collaboration with the CID Cell of Delhi Police.
