Police sources said the raids were conducted simultaneously across these locations to prevent any possibility of militants sneaking into Indian territory.

An official stated, “The raids were conducted at 18 locations, mostly targeting the houses of OGWs and relatives of terrorists operating from Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).”

Several electronic devices, including mobile phones, were seized during the operations, which were still ongoing at some locations as of Sunday evening. However, officials confirmed that no arrests had been made. The raids were carried out by teams led by senior officers.

During ceasefire violations, there were reportedly several attempts made by terrorists to cross into Indian territory from Poonch and other sectors along the LoC.
