In the wake of heavy rush of tourists in Ladakh, the Tourism Department of the UT has issued an advisory, asking the visitors to have pre-booking, especially in areas near the Pangong Lake.

The advisory was issued after it was noticed that a large number of tourists were coming to the cold desert without prior booking of hotel or guest houses, causing rush in the UT. Tourists have also been urged to maintain cleanliness.
