A primary school building was destroyed in a mysterious fire incident in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials confirmed on Wednesday.
The Government Primary School Ranibagh was completely gutted in the fire that occurred late on Tuesday night, according to officials from the Fire and Emergency Department. They reported that the school’s records and furniture were entirely consumed by the blaze. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the police.
Locals have claimed that they heard a blast inside the single-storey school building before it erupted into flames. However, the police have not commented on the incident.
