The Rajouri police have attached property of a terror handler who is operating from Pakistan-occupied J&K.
The action was take against Javid Iqbal, a resident of Rajdhani in Rajouri, who is wanted in connection with an FIR registered at the Manjakote police station under Sections 2/3 of the EIMCO Act.
The land measuring 2 kanals and 1 marla, located at Rajdhani village, was attached following orders from the District Court, Rajouri. The action was taken in the presence of an Executive Magistrate and as per the due legal process.
“The individual is accused of activities linked to supporting anti-national elements. The attachment of properties is part of efforts to dismantle networks of Pakistan-based handlers and their associates operating in the region,” an official spokesperson said.
