The Jammu and Kashmir Government has revoked the Public Safety Act (PSA) of Mubeen Shah, a Kashmiri born NRI businessman who was detained in the wake of the abrogation of Article 370. “In exercise of powers conferred under Section 19 (1) of the J&K Public Safety Act 1978, the government hereby, revokes the detention of Dr Mubeen Ahmad Shah of Srinagar with immediate effect,” read an order issued by Principal Secretary, Home Department, Shaleen Kabra. — TNS
