The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, today held a seminar at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Jammu campus, for admissions to the FTII, Pune, and Satyajeet Ray Film and Television Institute of India, Kolkata (SRFTI).
Highlighting the performance of the national-level institute of repute from where renowned personalities such as Siddharth Shasta, head of the department of screen acting, FTII, are alumni. He gave details about the joint entrance test for various courses of these two premier film institute of India. He threw light on various aspects of the entire selection process of candidates for courses like acting, direction, editing, cinematography, sound designing, art direction and production design, etc. Besides the students of the IIMC, Jammu campus, belonging to various states, the youth from Jharkhand, Srinagar and Punjab also took part in the seminar.
Regional director of the IIMC, Jammu Campus, Manohar Khajuria, presided over the seminar.
The last date for applying for these courses is January 24, 2020, up to 5 pm. The written tests for different courses will be held on February 15 and 16, 2020. Detailed information is available in website of FTII, www.ftii.ac.in.
