Jammu and Kashmir BJP president Ravinder Raina on Monday said conspiracies are being hatched to destabilise the region again.

“Through a lot of hard work, peace and development has returned to J&K but conspiracies are being hatched to destabilise the area,” he told reporters after visiting the residence of Dr Shahnawaz Dar in Budgam district, who was killed in a terror attack on October 20.

The BJP leader said while the government and security forces will do their jobs in dealing with the situation, the people of J&K also have to play their role in maintaining peace and stability.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
