Many years ago, the Srinagar Municipal Corporation was claiming that it was taking several steps to bring down the population of dogs in the city but the population has risen manifolds. The residents of Raj Bagh and Jawahar Nagar have a huge population dogs around their homes and it becomes difficult to go out. The government should take some initiatives so that the population of dogs in residential areas comes down as they have made our daily lives difficult.

Clear pedestrian spaces in city

The government has started planting trees in the middle of footpaths and electric polls are being erected in the middle of these pedestrian spaces around the Raj Bagh area. This is creating difficulties for pedestrians. What is the point of planting trees in the middle of walkways? They are creating unnecessary inconvenience for the walkers. The administration should do proper planning as it is turning the city into a mess.
