A total of 28 applications for Tata Magic vehicles were received, of which 27 were approved. Additionally, the only application seeking a minibus permit and all six applications for auto-rickshaw permits were also sanctioned. Furthermore, seven of the nine applications for change and extension of routes were approved. Permits of two Tata Sumo vehicles were approved for renewal.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasised the importance of conducting feasibility studies for the operation of minibuses on the newly approved routes, instructing the authorities concerned to collaborate with the District Transport Inspector for formulating comprehensive reports.

Kundal asked the officers concerned to identify stands for commercial vehicles to minimise the congestion in the city.
