Rajouri, November 18

The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Rajouri, has stopped the salaries of 12 district/ sectoral officials for skipping an important meeting related to Back to Village-Phase-II project and termed it gross insubordination and breach of official duties.

MA Asad, DDC, has also sought an explanation from the officials within three days for remaining away from the important meeting without prior permission.

The officials who skipped the important meeting and were asked for explanation include the Chief Horticulture Officer, Executive Engineers, Irrigation and Flood Control (Nowshera), Block Development Officers of Rajouri, Dhangri, Sunderbani and Manjakot, Zonal Education Officers of Nowshera and Rajouri and Block Programme Manager of the National Rural Livelihood Mission.
