Shopian DC orders FIR against two staffers
Shopian Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar has issued directions for disengagement of services, registration of FIRs and holding departmental disciplinary action against two rural development staff members found involved in corrupt practices. In an order, Dar directed the disengagement of GRS, and taking departmental action against panchayat secretary, who is already under suspension, alongwith registration of FIRs. Both employees have been found involved in embezzlement and misappropriation of funds and making labour payment for non-executed works under MGNREGA at Zrakan Panchayat of Keller block, as per the order.
