Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has demanded a thorough investigation into the snooping case of former Congress minister GM Saroori. A youth has been detained by Kishtwar police in this connection.

JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma has expressed a concern of the party in view of the prevailing security situation in Kishtwar and vulnerability of mainstream politicians in the area. He said investigation agencies should take the incident with all seriousness and ensure security of the senior congress leader.

He sought an in-depth investigation into the entire episode.— TNS
