Speaker Rather visits Assembly complex

Abdul Rahim Rather, Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, visited the Assembly Complex in Srinagar on Monday to review the operations of various offices.

During his visit, the Speaker inspected several sections within the complex and engaged with the staff. He emphasised the need for employees to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and regular attendance, while also ensuring the prompt and efficient handling of files.

Highlighting the importance of smooth office operations in Srinagar, Rather conducted a thorough review of essential facilities, including the availability of potable drinking water and electricity. He also assessed the status of the transfer of official records from Jammu, where a month-long Budget session was recently held.
