A special Lok Adalat focusing on the amicable settlement of traffic challans and electricity bills is scheduled to be held on February 22 in Budgam district, as per the calendar of activities issued by the J&K Legal Services Authority.
To facilitate maximum settlement of traffic challans, a pre-Lok Adalat session for traffic challans will commence from February 5 and continue till February 21.
All concerned advocates and parties wishing to settle their traffic challans through the said Lok Adalat have been asked to approach the concerned courts during this period for a mutually agreeable resolution.
The initiative aims to ensure an efficient and amicable settlement of pending cases. DLSA, Budgam, has requested stakeholders to avail themselves of the opportunity. In order to settle traffic challan cases, DLSA has constituted three benches for taking up the cases. These benches will hold their sessions from February 5 to February 21.
