A Special Lok Adalat was organised on Tuesday in North Kashmir’s Uri, officials said. “A total of 50 cases were brought before the Lok Adalat, which primarily dealt with civil matters related to compensation,” the spokesperson said. As many as 15 cases were successfully settled on the spot, marking a significant achievement in the swift resolution of disputes, he said. — OC
