Strike at Jammu medical college called off

The doctors at Government Medical College, Jammu, ended their strike two days after relatives of a patient assaulted a female doctor.

A female relative of the patient, who allegedly died due to negligence, was booked by police on Friday after the doctors went on the strike causing difficulties for the patients.

On Friday, the police detained the woman involved in the assault after which the strike ended.
