Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo chaired a meeting on Friday to review preparations for baseline survey aimed at identifying 1.37 lakh youth across Jammu & Kashmir with entrepreneurial potential. The survey, a joint initiative of the Labour & Employment and Planning Departments, seeks to self-employment under the Mission YUVA (Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan).

Deputy Commissioners participated via video conferencing as Dullo reviewed an online application developed for the survey. Around 20,000 field investigators, designated by the Planning Department, will conduct the exercise across the Union Territory.

Addressing the meeting, Dulloo highlighted the survey’s goal to identify the youth inclined toward the entrepreneurship and provide government support to help them realise their aspirations. He encouraged students in colleges and universities to participate.
