New Delhi, March 23
Minister of State (MoS) for Finance Anurag Thakur on Tuesday tore into the Congress in Rajya Sabha for raising questions on the development and progress of J&K since its creation into UTs. “For you, terrorism was important, but we are promoting tourism in J&K,” he said.
Shaktisinh Gohil and Syed Nasir Hussain of the Congress were critical of the government with regard to handling of J&K.
While Gohil took a jibe at the government for not taking along the populace, Hussain said that tourism sector had gone to seeds and unemployment and terrorism had increased in the past two years. — TNS
