Teachers during the one-day training programme in Leh.

A one-day training programme for science and mathematics teachers of Leh district was organised on Thursday at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh. The training focused on “Simulation and gamification-based teaching” to promote experiential and interactive learning in classrooms.

The session was facilitated by — Nagarajan P, Project Director, and Dr Siva Subramanian S, Global Convenor — two experts from lIT Madras under the Vidya Shakti initiative. The experts introduced participants to innovative digital teaching platforms.
