“The Taliban may have changed, but have Pakistan and China changed? We need to be careful at our borders,” he said, addressing the annual Vijayadashmi rally in Nagpur, where the RSS is headquartered.

Bhagwat said people in Jammu and Kashmir were getting the benefits of the abrogation of Article 370. “Terrorists want to re-establish fear in the minds of people for their survival and that is why they are carrying out targeted killings. The administration needs to expedite its efforts in order to thwart such activities,” he said.

In his annual speech, the RSS chief also expressed concern over the rise in the consumption of narcotics by youngsters. The money from such businesses is being misused for funding of “anti-national” activities, he alleged, demanding control over such activities.
